Product Focus – Elevating the e-commerce experience through clearer product storytelling, improved interactions, and a modular system that supports ongoing iteration.

Purple introduced a premium mattress that required a more refined digital experience, one that could support customer decision-making, build confidence, and streamline purchase across a complex e-commerce platform.

I contributed to the redesign of Purple.com, helping shape a more immersive and cohesive product experience that balanced performance, clarity, and brand storytelling. The site was designed to function as a comprehensive hub for customers, supporting education around Purple’s sleep technology while guiding users confidently through the purchase journey.

As part of the AKQA team, I helped evolve a modular design system that integrated with Purple’s existing e-commerce platform. The system supported flexible layouts, consistent storytelling, and incremental improvements over time, allowing the experience to scale across both evergreen commerce and campaign-driven moments.
